Step into a universe that supports your creative becoming. Step into a knowing that you are held and supported in your journey towards your highest expression of truth, love and purpose. |
You may keep hearing us at Eso Terra say: “Join us for Satsang!”
And you may be wondering: “What does that even mean?!”
Eso Terra’s Community Satsang happens once a month. These gatherings are beloved, facilitated experiences that weave self inquiry, creativity, esoteric exploration, movement, guided meditation–and of course, connective community.
At each Satsang, participants experience a profound journey where they reflect on current life coordinates, connect with extraordinary, intergenerational women, express creatively, heal through community, learn, release, and receive.
Satsang is the heartbeat of who we are at Eso Terra, the foundational circle-up from which everything else extends. Here–alongside other sisters from The Eso Terra Sisterhood–we dip into the medicines that surround us through community, helping us step forward with joy and courage into the fullest expression of who we wish to be in the world.
The Meaning of Satsang
At its roots, the Sanskrit word satsang means “being in the company of truth” (sat = truth, sang = community). Traditionally, satsang describes a gathering for meditation, chanting, or shared wisdom. Often there may be a guru guide offering channeled insight to large groups of people…
That’s not us.
Satsang, the Eso Terra way
At Eso Terra, we’ve reimagined Satsang as a sacred space to connect authentically in sisterhood through what Gene Keys founder Richard Rudd calls “heterarchy” vs. hierarchy. Embracing an interwoven methodology of leadership, our offerings are designed to bring each woman home to the “guru” within themselves. We serve as mirrors for our sisters, bearing witness to truth in each other's lives.
Eso Terra Satsangs are not lectures or performances, but living, breathing circles.
Each gathering blends breath, meditation, movement, creative expression, and intentional sharing. We give one another rapt attention, engaging with each other as the muses, mirrors, and medicines that we are. And certainly at each gathering, we remember the powerful healing available when women gather in truth and connection.
Everyone brings their own magic and medicine. Here, Truth is expressed through play and creativity, reflective prompts, and guided meditative journeys. And Truth is experienced through collective wisdom of our lived experiences, our inner listening and the beautiful muses and mirrors that surround us.
What happens in an Eso Terra Satsang?
“In my experience, Eso Terra’s Satsang is a beautiful, soul nourishing experience. Cat & Claire hold the space with warmth and authenticity. The experience left me feeling grounded, inspired, and deeply connected.I would wholeheartedly encourage anyone seeking clarity, peace, and community to attend.” ~Lacey Brownyard |
Satsang is an organic experience, and the structure shifts month to month. Each gathering has its own theme–co-generated by the sisterhood, typically through a WhatsApp poll or sentiment shared by the larger sisterhood in our shared WhatsApp Community.
No two Satsangs are ever the same. We follow the pulse of the community, weaving in new themes or welcoming guest facilitators as called. Though each Satsang is unique, here’s an example of how a session may flow.
Group Sharing & Esoteric Explorations
We share about our life coordinates, reflecting or responding to a specific prompt. Often, our Satsangs open up a window into a specific holistic or esoteric concept–like the Gene Keys, historical myths and archetypes, tarot, astrology, family constellations, or parts work–that serve as an introduction to an esoteric concept, as well as a lever for deep self inquiry.
Guided Meditation
After a theme for the Satsang has been revealed, co-founder Cat Lindroth (or other Mentors In Residence) may guide the group through a visual guided meditation, anchoring into bodily presence with breathwork and tapping into a powerful space of knowing and autonomy.
Creative Expression
Next, participants may unlock insight through movement, poetry, drawing or doodling. Satsangs are an interdisciplinary practice that draws on different methodologies and modes of creative expression as an avenue to self-inquiry.
Authentic Relating
After a period of creative expression, participants are invited into a safe place to reflect and voice their truth in the presence of their sisters. We often play with creative ways of sharing in small and large groups, creating spaces to meaningfully connect and relate to the other incredible participants of Satsang, and members of Eso Terra sisterhood.
What You’ll Experience
Satsang is an invitation to remember who we are in the presence of one another. Here we immerse ourselves in sisterhood, self-inquiry and holistic healing. Our Satsangs emphasize teachings, tools, and shared wisdom that spark expansion in our daily lives. We are fortunate to host experienced guides and practitioners who are masters of their diverse crafts, offering new perspectives and practices each month.
Sisterhood
EsoTerra’s Satsangs are the essence of authentic sisterhood–a space for connection that runs deeper than small talk. Women from all walks of life come together to be real, to be seen, and to be heard. While each Circle Up has an ending, the bonds created extend far beyond the gathering, offering an ongoing sense of belonging and support. In a fast-paced, digital world, Satsang offers grounding through genuine, heart-centered relationships.
Self-Inquiry
Through prompts, journaling, and reflective pause, Satsang offers opportunities to turn inward and listen to deeper layers of truth. This practice invites clarity, helps release what no longer belongs, and opens us to the wisdom already alive within.
Holistic Healing
At their heart, Satsangs are a healing ritual. They provide a safe, compassionate space to release isolation and experience the power of being deeply witnessed. In Satsang, we remember: we grow best together, not alone.
